You here that nows how to build mods, is there a way to build a mod so that the warnings in phpb3 are displayed in viewtopic and viewprofile?

Yes, very very easy. 7 edits in a total of 4 files. Post a MOD request and i'll post the solution for you ;)

So what do you guys think of phpBB 3.0 RC1 so far?
Aside from the bug fixes and new theme.

I find this to be a great piece of software.
It's both fast and reliable with a great set of features and a big group of people in to mod development, which in the end is great for all of us who want to expand our sites with many new features.

My only problem with bb3 is the captcha :wtf:

I haven't upgraded yet because I'm still waiting for some mod development (amazon mod, for example). I also am waiting for Smartor's photo album, although I probably will upgrade once the amazon mod is complete and install the photo album later.

So far after what I've beta tested on non-live areas, phpBB 3 is wonderful.

I think it's great! It's so much easier to MOD for. Some parts need some learning (ACP modules for example), but once you got the hang of the new things, you can add permissions and stuff very easily! :)

I found the permissions to be quite tedious and difficult, especially if you have many forums/categories. Did anyone else find it to be hard?

Well, setting the permissions needs some getting used to, but using them for your MOD is very simple.

I found it easy after getting use to it.
I like how we can copy permissions from other categories.
