move to new hosting - help with cookies.

hello,
I want to move my site to the new hosting.
so i upload the site to my new host and upload backup,
but when i enter to the new host i get logout all the time.
so i use phpbb2 cookie fix mod and it is work except when i click
on portal3 button or custom page..

i did not change the dns from old hosting.
i have working site there..
i need to fix all and then i change the DNS.

someone can help my with cookies please?
and to make the transition smooth?
when i change the dns user are still make change on old
hosting database..
maybe i need to change the config file to connect the new hosting databse
and then change the dns?

There is always some trouble with new pages in phpBB3.
