valid_forum_1 and valid_forum_2 are examples for allowed names. You need to validate them very strictly, else you create security holes.

ok. i changed all forum=name to forum1=name and its still setting topic_id's as 0 and when replying to the first topic created which is created by phpBB. it creates a new category.lol. wtf?
You think phpBB would still function properly if i set topic_id and post_id to primary key and auto-increment then removed the insert topic_id and post_id?

My code was only an example, you can have it handled totally differently. But IMO it is important that you validate that to prevent potential sql injection.
