phpBB3 Permissions Integration

Would someone be so kind as to do an article on adding phpBB3 permissions, along with how to do it right (using the correct function calls and including needed files)?

I've been looking about but haven't found anything too clear on it... :?

I use it for the few things in there that there are articles for on things I don't already know (wow that was a mouthful...err...typeful) You should probably advertise it tho :P
