Re: Code viewer
Well, a while statement doesn't work in all situations. For example...
function this()
{
echo "hello";
this();
echo "goodbye;
}
This will (if it ended, which it won't...but you get the picture) return "hellohellohellohellogoodbyegoodbyegoodbyegoodbye", and you can't do this with a while statement, well you can, but with two...ok, bad example. But there are situations that it makes much more sense (or isn't even possible without) recursive functions.

Re: Code viewer
Well, the while statement I was using had a sizeof check and an array that had the to-do list of directories to check, so if it does take more memory for a recursive function, I might just stick with my own code...
Yea or nay as for recursive fn's using more memory and being more system taxing, though?

Re: Code viewer
Doesn't look half bad...
But...lets see, hack it...hmm. Where to start? *pokes Igor to find some easy way of exploiting it to teach sTraTo a life lesson: If you try, you WILL fail. I learned that a long time ago, so I've basically stopped trying

Pah, if you never try, you never get anywhere.

Re: Code viewer
If you never try, you never fail either . (by the way, the above was complete satire...about not trying, etc.)
